My Old Man

So Max has been doing this funny smile lately. It's like an old man with no teeth:)
I think it is my new favorite. He is so close to crawling now! He just turned 8 mos. and I can't believe how the time has flown by.

Something New...

It's been a long wait.... We sold both of our vehicles and got something a little bigger for the family. It also has 4WD and a hitch so that Bart can tow. I love driving it so much more than the stratus:) Now Bart and I fight over who gets to drive...

The Boys in their costumes...

We had a lot of fun on Halloween. Caleb LOVED being a Lion... and he loved trick or treating. He literally ran from house to house for about an hour to get lots of candy. I ran with him - it was great exercise! Bart pushed Max in the stroller and he was happy and squealing the whole time. Caleb has been waiting for over a month to be a lion and to growl at people in his costume. Lions are his favorite and he has an imaginary "lion friend" that I have to say goodnight to every night when "they" go to sleep. It was such a fun night and we have some good memories now.

Bart's Bird...

So, for those of you interested, Bart went pheasant hunting this weekend and I posted his pic for him on his "outdoors with bart" blog. Check out his link on the right.

Caleb Boy

These pics are from the Children's Museum at the Gateway Mall...

The choo-choo background is in honor of my little Cubby. He is pretty much obsessed with "choo-choos" right now and he always asks if the places we are going will have choo-choos there. He is such a great kid. It can be kinda rough with him at times. He is very independent and strong willed (like both of his parents) but he has a heart of gold. This morning when I walked in his room, he said, "Hi Mommy,... you're my best friend." Melted my heart.

Happy Halloween!

Bart's work had a Halloween Party last friday. Here are the pics of us... Let me know if you can't tell who we are. :) We had a lot of fun at the party and we even won the "newlywed" game. Sweet! So, I have to give credit for my hair to my awesome sis Keri. I couldn't have pulled it off without her help.

Max's Teeth...

So, Max is a darling baby and has always been lots of fun, but he is teething right now and it's making him soo fussy. He has cut his bottom two, but his top "dracula teeth" are cutting and its killing him. Makes for some cute pics, though. :) I think that Max looks a lot like Bart, but in the pic of us together, we kinda look alike. It's fun.

Four years, one month, and 4 days...:)

Well, I was looking through our wedding pics and it reminded me that Bart and I celebrated our 4th Anniversary last month, but it was during a really hectic time and I never posted anything. I think Bart is a great guy and I love him a lot. I love these pictures and I was so happy the day that I married him.
This one was funny to me... It's Bart and his best friends.

A New Tag...

Here are the rules:
Link the person who tagged you.
Mention rules on your blog.
Tell about 6 quirks of yours.
Tell 6 fellow bloggers to do the same.
Leave a comment to let them know.

Thanks Anna, for giving me something new and different to blog about:) I would link yours but your blog is private anyway.

Here goes:
1. I have a little addiction to entering Publishers Clearing House. I do it all the time. I have a one in like 500 million chance of winning, but I still hope... maybe... someday. Just think of all you could do with five thousand a week for life!
2. (I am stealing this from Anna because it is exactly the same for me):
I am a real beast to my kids when it comes to nap time. They have to have a nap. If they don't have a nap and I don't get "me time" I get really upset. I just need alone time ya know.
3. I dont do dishes after dinner. I am usually so tired and worn out from the day that I save them for the morning. It might be messy at night, but that is when I get to relax with just Bart, so I feel fine about it.
4. I have the hugest sweet tooth. For reals! I love most all sweet things. Bart doesn't, so I pretty much eat all the sweets in our house. With help from Caleb, of course.
5. I am still afraid of the dark. When I am the last one going upstairs, and I have to turn off all the lights, then I BOOK it upstairs. I am pretty sure this stems from my childhood. I have always had a very vivid imagination. Bart doesn't even know that I do this.
6. I love the smell of Ivory soap. My mom bought it when I was little and it smelled so good that I wanted to eat it. I tasted it once, then never again. It tastes nothing like it smells..hehe :)

I tag....
Anybody who needs something different to blog about other than their kids.

Got Some New Ones...

So, I went and got some pictures taken of the boys. I wanted to have some nice ones- better than my camera (or skills) could take.
It was a pretty hectic photo shoot and I think the photographer got a little burnt out by us, but we finally ended up with some cute ones. Chubby little Max is now 6 mos and Caleb is almost 2 1/2! I will send these out to family soon:)

Way Behind...

Yeah, I haven't posted in... forever. I have kind of been on a vacation from blogging I guess, but I am back now to say that my camera is broken...:) That is what I get when I dont watch my curious two year old every second. I think we might be able to take it back but we'll see.

Life has been so busy, but we are doing well. Bart and I celebrated our 4th anniversary last week, I turned another year older, and Bart will tomorrow. Fun, huh. So this is a catch up and a warning that it might be a while.

Here are me and my buddies making faces for the camera. It was fun to play around with my sweet and chubby little boys. I love them a lot. They are growing so fast!

We gave Max cereal the other day and he didn't really like it. Just thought I would post some of these photos that I thought were cute...

Bruhvers

My busy busy boy!

Caleb, Max and I love going for walks at this great park near our house. I usually let Caleb run along beside me, so he has to stop and look at everything. He is very curious and also observant of all the things he sees. I happened to have my camera with me on this walk and so it was fun to follow him around and snap some shots. Oh and yes,... he is in his jammies because we try to go early before it gets too hot.

Max's Favorite Things...

That would be "cooing"(more like yelling), eating, and his binky, besides his mom of course...;) So, Max just had his 4 month checkup and he is still above the 95th percentile in weight and height. I love how big and chubby he is, and I especially love kissing his cheeks. He's such a great baby!

Seven Peaks

Last Saturday my sister invited us to go to Seven Peaks with her for the day. It was a lot of fun. Max was pretty indifferent about the water. But, Caleb definitely had a blast and wore himself out. There were a few pools for younger kids and he loved going down the slides. He especially loved the big ones that he rode down on the tube with Daddy. He played all day long and had already fallen asleep in his carseat before we even left the parking lot that night.
