Just for fun...

Our little Maxwell
I finally got a couple with Max's eyes open. It is hard to believe, but he is almost one month old! He is so sweet. He sleeps pretty well most nights. He just has reflux so it hurts his tummy after he eats and we have to work hard to get him to sleep. Thankfully, he takes a binky-- something which Caleb wouldn't do. We are really grateful for him and we love him a lot.

Quality Daddy Time
Caleb got to have a fun day last saturday with his dad. They went on an "easter egg" hunt (which was really just finding candy in the grass), met the easter bunny, and dad gave Cub a haircut. This gave mommy and Max some much needed sleeping time. It was a great day for all of us.

Husband Survey
Above is our engagement picture. This was kinda fun to do. Bart and I got to reminisce a little...What is your husband's name? Bartley Kenneth Caley Jr.
How long have you been together? We have known each other for about 6 1/2 years... Started dating 4 years ago and have been married for 3 1/2.
Who said I love you first? Bart. It was really sweet:)
Who is smarter? Can't say for sure. We are both dang smart...
Who does the housework? I would say that I do it 75% of the time. Bart is pretty great at helping.
Who sleeps on the right? Me. I did it so I could be closer to Caleb's room and Max's bassinet because I am the one who gets them at night.
Who pays the bills? Bart makes the money, but I pay the bills. Bart likes it that way- one less thing to worry about.
Who cooks dinner? This one is closer to 50/50 depending on the week. Sometimes Bart gets the urge to cook and I really love that.:) He likes to cook and I wont complain.
Who drives when you are together? Usually Bart, but sometimes me depending on what we are doing or where we are going.
Who is more stubborn? ummm? We both are extremely stubborn. I asked Bart, just to be fair, and he said, "I don't know."
Who kissed who first? He kissed me at my doorstep after our 3rd date. He was quite the gentleman.
Who asked out who first? He asked me out first. He taught me how to snowboard... something he promised to do when we were in the MTC.
Who proposed? He did. I knew it was coming though, because he hugged me and I felt the ring box in his coat pocket.
Who has more siblings? Me.. I have 7 siblings, versus his 2.
Who wears the pants? Bart mostly.
Now I tag: anyone who reads this and hasn't done it yet. You know who you are:)

Cute Max
Well, here is the latest pic of Max. I took it right before we all got sick- him included. He now has crusty eyes and congestion and it breaks my heart to see such a small baby sick. We tried so hard to be careful, but these things happen. Caleb had a little cold, and then Bart got sick over last weekend, so I guess it is just a family thing:( Anyway, today he is two weeks old. He is so sweet and I feel like he has been picked on non-stop but he still isn't that fussy. We love him a lot. Caleb doesn't really pay him too much attention, but he has started to pretend like he is a baby more. He lays in Max's carseat and sucks on his binky when Max isn't in there. But overall, Cubby is doing pretty good.

Bruh-ver
Counting
Here is a clip of Caleb's latest... Once again, he is covered in food. I guess that is the only time I can run and grab the camera, and when he holds still long enough for me to record- when he is locked in his highchair:)

Smile!
One week already!
I took these when Max was one week old. It is crazy how much he has changed already. His chubby cheeks have thinned out. He has been a great baby, only giving me grief a few nights. He just thinks he needs to eat all the time:) Lucky for Bart, he can sleep through anything.. hehe. We are so grateful for Max and we love him so much. He adds an awesome new feel to our family.

A tribute to a Good Man...
I don't know how I got so lucky, but I need to say how amazing Bart has been through all of this new baby stuff. I don't know what I would have done without him. He has cleaned, gone grocery shopping, cooked meals, and been there for me all the way. He was even willing to go binky shopping at 3 am -when we wanted to get Max to sleep. Most of all, he has been so patient with me and Caleb as we all adjust to our new and wonderful addition. I love him and I just wanted everyone to know what a great dad and husband he is. Thank you, Bart.

Cute Pics...
Here are some pictures that I thought were cute. They were all taken the day we came home from the hospital.
Lil' Brudder
So Caleb is doing pretty well thus far adjusting to Max. He has been pretty gentle. He was frustrated that Max couldn't walk at first, but now I think he gets it more. This pic was Caleb enjoying Max's hair on our first day home. Max did really well his first night, something I was so thankful for, and we love being together as a family.
