Memories...

I remember your wedding reception at annie's and thinking wow she is beautiful! You really are Lori, I am so glad that my brother found shuch a perfect mate. We are blessed to have you in our family! We miss you!
I remember meeting you in Annies as well and how proud I was of you and Bart for setting such a great example and all the questions I got from my kids when I got home. I didn't know anything about you, but I felt your spirit and was so excited to have you join our family. I am really excited as I get to know you a bit better through blogging.
Okay, this isn't a huge memory but for some reason, it stuck with me! My brother, Wes, was talking about some "new, HOT girl in school" and it turned out to be you! And I had a "thing" for your brother, so I was so mortified that if my brother married you and I married your brother, that'd be too weird... hmmmm, have I mentioned HOW IMMATURE I was (am)???? Hahahahaha! Also, the fact that I was thinking marriage when I haven't even TALKED to Griff before??? Presumptuous!
I'm pretty sure the first time I met you was the weekend that I was getting married. That's right, isn't it? There was so much going on that day! I remember you guys helped get things set up for the reception. I also remember thinking that I was glad that my brother was going to marry a tall girl that wasn't a stick! Not to mention you are beautiful, talented and a great friend!
I remember when Bart was staying with us in that tiny little one bedroom apartment in Salt Lake and you came over. I was so impressed with you and Bart and your "story". You know, how you met. And you guys were so cute with Maggie when she was just a little baby. And when we saw your engagement photos, I thought..Wow, that couple is DANG good looking they should do some modeling for wedding brochures or something! You are really beautiful inside and out! I'm so glad you are in our family.
I remember meeting you at the weddings and thinking Bart found a beautiful partner in life. But really you got to speak up in our crowd. I'm glad for the blogs though it helps us to get to know you more.
Ha! I love our funny memories...Let's see...putting nude-colored nylons over our heads for a disguise to "sneak" out "late" to "prank". I don't think the guys thought it was very funny... (I miss Jenny!:)
Also, sharing text books and eating Chilli Mac together.
