What we've been up to...

So, I am sure that you will be surprised to see that I posted...SURPRISE! I have been out of it lately, but I decided to finally fill you in. :)

We went up to Bear Lake a couple of weeks ago to play on the beach. The boys LOVED it. Max had a blast throwing sand everywhere, and Caleb enjoyed exploring the area, making sand castles and seeing new things. Bart and I wondered why we took so long to take them this summer. It was lots of fun.

Next...

Poor Caleb has been pretty sick the last few days. It has been hard, but he is a sweetie and on the mend.

Then, our dishwasher pipe leaked and flooded the kitchen. We had to tear out the floor and part of the cabinets. Above is a pic as it looks right now. Bart and our friend, Travis are laying the new tile... We also will be changing things up a bit and getting a new oven because our previous one is slow to ignite and shot flames out the door... was kinda freaky.
I'll post an AFTER pic when its all done.
Life has been crazy for us with lots of Church, Work, and Family activities, but we are having fun:)

Memorial Day Weekend...and more!

Once again, Cubs was pulling amazing funny faces for the camera :)

These pictures are in reverse chronological order.... This first was from a couple of days ago when I about had a heart attack because Caleb wasn't in his bed when I went to check on him in the night. I looked all over and finally found him under our bed. My camera was nearby so I took a picture. I think it is funny now, but at the time, I was mad at the little stinker.

These next pictures are from our little family vacation to Heber, Jordanelle Dam, and Park City. We got Caleb tickets to "A Day Out With Thomas" on the Heber Valley Railroad for his birthday. Thomas came to town over Memorial Day weekend, so we just stayed the rest of the weekend to fish, hike, and have fun:)

Max and his cute Auntie Lara...

Max trying on Uncle Griff's BIG shoes...

Max was not happy when we went fishing...

But Caleb sure had fun!

So Did Bart...

Caleb caught the first fish! (For more fishing pics see Bart's blog on the right)

Our hike in Wasatch State Park at Dutch Hollow.... It was the perfect day for hiking and so pretty.

Here we are on the Thomas Ride. Caleb had been so excited to ride this train for weeks, but when we got there, he got very serious. I know he loved it because he asks me everyday if we can go back on the "Heber Bally Red Road" to ride Thomas. I think he was just taking it all in.

Max waved "Bye Bye" to all the people when we took off...

They got to play with toy trains and tables,...

Got Thomas tattoos...

Went to Thomas Story Time...

Met Sir-Topham Hatt...

And Met Thomas Himself!

This was Cubby's face when he found out that we were almost to Thomas...

There was also a cool magician doing tricks, balloons, bubbles, and tons of other fun activities. It was such a fun little outing for us and the boys.

These next few pics are just some fun ones with the boys and their cousins at the park...

Blowing BUBBLES!

This is a video from the ride to Thomas. Cubby kept singing some pretty awesome songs he made up so I decided to catch it.... (remember to push pause on the music player below).
